Running the air conditioning for a full night uses approximately 40% of the battery capacity. The auxiliary (Ective) charger was added to recharge the batteries as quickly as possible in such scenarios. The boat is equipped with an LMG4000 generator (genset). This is the bottleneck. Theoretically, it would recharge the capacity used by the overnight air conditioning in 2–3 hours, but in practice, this completely maxes out the generator's capacity. This limitation can be circumvented with some smart control, allowing the AC and/or electric stove to be used simultaneously with charging, although in this case, the recharge time will be longer.
